Jasmine is a doula on our team who only serves Charleston, SC and surrounding areas.

My name is Jasmine Parham, and I am a CAPPA trained birth doula, postpartum doula, placenta encapsulation specialist, and a peer breastfeeding counselor.  I’ve obtained my bachelor’s degree in Physical Activity Management and Master’s Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from South Carolina State University.  I found a love for breastfeeding after having my son in 2018 and having the best lactation consultant.  I’ve expanded and embraced my purpose as a birth worker to become a doula.  My oldest, Liam, was born via emergency C-section and my youngest, Ausar, was a VBAC, as a home birth.  I’ve breastfed both of them and am currently breastfeeding the youngest.  I’ve extended my knowledge by researching and learning from other mothers who breastfed their little ones in a Facebook Group.  I had the opportunity to become a moderator in the same group.  I strive to assist mothers and their families by recommending evidence based research and a holistic approach.  A mother and partner should be able to make their informed choice on what they decide is best for their baby.  I am here to guide and support what decision is made.
